Wice Fapes is the solo alternative recording project of film composer Jesse Bouvier. Born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona, Bouvier grew his musical passion by playing any and every instrument he could get his hands on. From a very young age Jesse knew that he wanted to write soundtracks for films, and eventually moved to Los Angeles, where he earned his degree in film music composition. While songwriting was always a significant part of his musical vocabulary, it was during his studies in film music that Bouvier became enamored with the art of music production. Continually inspired by nature and the inherent inclination in music toward imagery, he applies various instruments and recording techniques to convey the sense of wonder he found in his Arizona mountain hometown, and on the beaches of southern California. Wice Fapes is a culmination of rich traditional orchestration and lush production that aims to celebrate the natural and visual world.
